We’re not a bank (yet), but we’re much more convenient than a regular bank account. We’re reimagining the possibilities of banking by providing future proof services and automation tools, that allow individuals and small businesses to achieve greater value and productivity. We provide an innovative AI-powered financial planner which gives you all the essential information you need for fast and easy decision-making. Verge is a smart platform and gets smarter with time.
Can I use my Verge account as a regular bank account?
Absolutely. Your Verge account comes with a UK account and an Euro IBAN and other amazing features. You can pay and receive funds to and from any country in any currency, benefiting from extremely low fees. We offer only competitive rates with no hidden commissions. No more nasty surprises while handling your funds. Enjoy 1% exchange rate for your transactions anywhere in the world.
How much does it cost to use Verge?
Your Verge personal and basic business accounts are completely free of charge, and there is no fee for the Verge cards issued for these accounts. We charge a fee of £5.99/month for the 'growth' business account and £11.99/month for our premium business account, which includes automated invoicing, accounting and payroll services. We also have a very low fee (1.5%) for foreign currency transactions.
How safe is Verge
Verge makes security a top priority. Below are some of the steps we take to ensure your account safety:
- Requiring HTTPS on all pages, and use HSTS to ensure browsers only ever connect to us over a secure connection.
- We never store or log your password in plaintext.
- Using Time-based One Time Passwords for two-factor authentication. We never send authentication codes via insecure channels like SMS.
- Never storing your debit card number.
How's my money handled?
Your money is safe with us. All funds are held in a segregated account which we don’t have access to and can be accessed for transactions at any time.
